Countdown Excitement!

16 days- until we get the key to our apartment!

21 days- until we start moving our stuff into the apartment!

30 DAYS- UNTIL THE SPECIAL DAY!!!!!! :)

31 days- until we stay in our apartment for the first time!!

33 days- until we leave for our honeymoon!

34 days- until we land in ST. LUCIA!! Sunshine, sand and Mai Tais :)

42 days until we are home from our honeymoon!!!

So many exciting days we are counting down too!! Can't not wait for the fun experience and one of the best times of our lives!! And I cant wait to share more amazing times together!! It is getting super busy so I am not sure how much I will be writing!! We should have our engagaement video back soon and I can't wait to share it!!

What an Adventure

Holy Moly!!!! 46 DAYS!!!!!!

I can not believe that the time is almost here!! It felt just like yesterday that James got down on his knee and asked to marry me!! (ooOooOo that rhymed) :)  So yeah, its just crazy that I will be a married woman next month!!

So much is happening in the next month or so and I am feeling a wee bit overwhelmed!! Just a few weeks ago I had my lingerie party! It was super fun...I turned red a few times but hey! who wouldnt!! It was the craziest feeling to have a party all about me! I mean we all have birthday parties but there is something different about a bridal shower!! You just get this crazy feeling that you are special and that soo many people are excited for your special day!! I can't wait for my other bridal showers to come! I have one this weekend and next weekend....and then the Bachelorette party!!! Woot Woot!! :)

Today I went and bought my garters for the wedding!! They are super pretty!!! I haven't bought a garter since high school dances so it was kind of strange trying to pick one out!!! I realized after about 15 minutes of staning there staring at them.....that it really isn't that big of deal and shouldn't be that hard to pick haha! Its just a garter!!

In the next month or so we will be getting all the girls dresses fitted.....my dress fitted...the boys fitted for their tuxes.....finishing all the last minute 'CUTE' details and unque ideas that I decided to DIY for the wedding.....rehearsal dinner.....nails ('Spa Day') haha.....HONEYMOON Shopping!!! :)......oh lets seee, what else.......about a milion other things that I am not thinking of!! Oh yes and I'm making the guest book and everything!!

We will also be making another trip to Cave B for our tasting and to do a mock set up for the ceremony and reception area!! I am super excited!!! It is becoming crazy real!! I am doing my food tasting in like two weeks.....WOW!!

I will also be going to see my dress sometime this month!! I can't wait to see it!! It has been 10 months!!!! Oh man..it makes me nervous!! I know I will still love it but there is that little something inside of me that is making me nervous that I wont'!! But I'm sure I will!!

OH YEAH!!! I almost forgot!! James and I found a place to live!! YAY!!! That's a pretty important thing and we now have somewhere we can call home!! We move all of stuff in our cute apartment in May and then we will move in together the day after the wedding!!! SOOOO Stoked!! I can't wait to have my own place again.......well OUR OWN PLACE haha :)!! I feel sooo grown up!! I had my own place in college....but its really not the same!!!

So that is some of the excitement that is going on around here!! I am super stressed, overwhelmed, sometimes frustrated but I'm loving the adventure and experience and I can't wait to be Mrs. Longie!! Its a great thing to be a bride but I am ready to be a Mrs!! :)

Excitement Took Over

Ok so on my last post I think I got too excited!!! The wedding was 60 days away but not exactly eight weeks haha!! I never said I was good at math or whatever that would be! So my birthday was Saturday March 24....and that was the day that it was EXACTLY EIGHT WEEKS! hahaha!! So yeah we are now under eight weeks away....I am soooooooo ready for it to be here!!

So thats just my short little post clarifying the timeline til the wedding!!! :)

TWO MONTHS!!

We are finally down to the last TWO MONTHS!!! Ahhh this is sooo unreal! I can't believe we have 60 days left!! It is going to go by sooooo fast!!

I have had some fun lately too!! On March 10 my sister and mom threw me a lingerie shower!! It was really fun and I got some really cute stuff!!

And I havejust been doing last minute detail stuff!! We should have our invites out by Wednesday of this week!! I am so excited...I designed them all myself and love them! I will post a picture once I get them back fromt he printer and sent out! I have designed everything for the wedding myself.... so if anyone needs anything designed just let me know!! I love designing and creating invites, posters, banners, or just anything in the paper products!!

Also James and I made a trip to Cave B to go over some of the BIG DAY!! We are also headed up there in April to finalize everything and for our tasting!! :)  :)  Its all becoming soo real!!

Oh yes!! and I asked my flower girl and ring bearers!! It was soo cute!! Logan is 7, Lexi is 4 and Henry will be 3!!! They are soo cute and they all love each other soo much!! Can't wait to see them in there outfits! :)

Not sure if I mentioned it on my last post but we did get James' ring...which is super cool looking and I got a wedding band!!!! :)

Oh yes!! And my mom and I went and ordered all the flowers!!! They are going to be beautiful and I can't wait to see how they look with the girls' dresses!! I'm sure they will be beautiful!!

It is killing me.....I haven't tried my dress on in 10 months!!! Ohh man I hope I still love it!! haha!! Its kind of nerve racking when you haven't seen it in a while...and even though I have pictures I almost forget sometimes what it looks like!! Soo it will be a nice surprise!! :)

Sorry, I know this is almost a list..but it has been soo crazy lately with work and trying to get everything done and figured out for the wedding!! I can't wait..it is going to be here soo fast!! James and I have also been looking at apartments and I think we found ONE!! So excited to move in with him once we are married and Just can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him!! We also can't wait for our HONEYMOON!! We have been planning all of our island adventures and I am soo Stoked!! Can't wait to be on the beach in 8 weeks!! :)

I'm sure I will have more for you in the next few weeks!! Its only going to get busier and crazier..but that just means it is that much closer!! :) :) :)  YIPPEE!! Can't wait!!

A little wedding news

February 25th, 2011
One of the best days of my life!! James proposed to me and it was such a surprise! I had no idea I would be getting engaged to the man that I love! It was a great night and so romantic! I will always remember the day he proposed to me!!!!

And today I asked my little cousins to be my flower girl and escort (ring bearer)!!! They were too cute!! The ring bearer has been a ring bearer about 4 times or maybe more and soooo he wasn;t to excited haha!! But I gave him a new role as being the escort for the flower girl!!! He liked that much better!! :)

AREN'T THEY SOOOOO CUTE!!!!

I don't really have anymore news to share!! I am getting excited for my lingerie party though! Only two weeks away!! The wedding is getting so close!!!!

T- minus THREE MONTHS!!

Ok ok ok I know I forgot to post! I got super busy!! But I am posting now and there is sooo much to share!
First of all I FOUND A JOB!!!!! Yay!! Weight lifted off our shoulders. It was getting very stressful! But I got a job and I love it and now we don't have to live with my parents after the wedding ;) (no offense mom and dad)! And we also found an apartment that we both LOVE and of course I have already decorated it in my head!! So excited to move in in May and have our own home!!

Also my sister and mom made my lingerie party invitations and they are soooo adorbale!! And creative! I love them and am excited to see everyone in a couple weeks for my lingerie party! It will be fun!! :) I'll post a picture at the end of this post cause they are too cute to not post!!

We have also been working on a lot of projects for the wedding!! I can't go into too many details cause then it would ruin all the surprises on the day of the wedding!! All the girls are starting to get their dresses in and they are beautiful!! I love the color!! Soo stunning and I can't wait to see everything put together!

We also have all the tuxes picked out! We had them picked out at one shop but they ended up being way tooooo expensive so we found another shop that was a lot more reasonable! BUT James had to go back to the epensive shop and try to get his money back.......so in the process of doing this the lady thought that I had called off the wedding and apologized to James over and over and said how sorry she was!!!! But the wedding is still on and now everyone will be able to afford tuxes cause they were soooooooooo crazily expensive!!

James has also been helping me with some of the projects which has been fun and surprising haha!!

Next on the agenda....I need to make a trip to Spokane for one of my first dress fittings!!! I can not wait to see my dress......I have not seen or tried it on since JUNE!! Thats just way too long for a girl to be away from her dress :) So soon I shall reunite with it!! And I can't wait...Hopefully I still like it haha!!

And then my other bridal shower needs to be planned......bachelorette and bachelor parties need to be planned.....we need to finalize our music for the ceremony and first dances.......and a whole bunch of other stuff!!

As much as I am havig fun and loving planning....I am also ready for the day to just be here!!! I never believed girls when they were like...."I'm just ready to get to the day and have fun and then go on my honeymoon"! BUT it is sooooo true! It gets very overwhelming and stressful with all the decisions and opinions from others!! But I know it will be beautiful and I am just ready to get married, dance, have fun and then soak up some sunshine in St. Lucia!!! :)

So I think that is all the exciting news I have!!! I wish I could share more but I wan everyone to be surprised by the little deatails and unique ideas I have!!! SOOOOO after the wedding this blog will be blowing up with posts! :) Oh yeah I almost forgot!!!

THREE MONTHS TODAY!!!! I cannot believe it!! So crazy! We are almost there.....in no time it will be the week before and then the night before and I wont be able to sleep!!! :)

Oh yeah an for SuperBowl I made these awesome dessert skewers!! They are gluten and dairy free!!! I made the angel food cake the day before! The angel food cake is gluten and dairy free and was sooooo much better then normal angel food cake!! And then strawberries....and then I melted dairy free chocolate chips and drizzled it over the skewers!! SOOOOO good!! YUM!

99 DAYS UNTIL OUR BIG DAY!!!

I wish I could write everything that has been going on and all the wedding stuff that is happening!!! BUT I'm sooo tired and I dont have the energy!!

I just had to post that we are in the double digits!! Almost 3 months away and its soo exciting!!! Tomorrow I promise I will post everything!!!

It's getting closer and closer!!

It has been forever since I have written....well ok only a month!! But so much has happened!! The wedding is getting close and so there is a lot that has been going on!! On February 19th we will be at exactly 3 months til the wedding!! SOOO crazy....I feel like just yesterday we got engaged!! I knew it would go by fast but not this fast!! And on February 25th it will be one year since James proposed to me!!! :)    Definitely one of the best days of the my life so far!!

As far as wedding stuff goes....we have reserved tuxedos.....finally!!! It was actually a pretty funny ordeal!! We cancelled our tux orer from one store and they thought that I had broke it off with James and apologized to him several times...hahaha!! But we are still getting married and found a different tuxedo shop that is going to work perfectly!!

Also all the girls now have their dresses ordered and some of them have already received them!! YAY!! Cant wait to see them all in their dresses and looking beautiful!!

Lets see.....what else has happened...... OH YES!! we found a videographer!! She does amazing work and I can't wait to work with her!! We are doing our engagement video in April and then she will be their on our special day to canpture every special moment!! Can't wait!!

My mom and sister have also set the date for my lingerie party and have made the cutest invitations ever!! I can't wait for everyone to get them!!! Once everyone has gotten them I will post a picture!! Super excited for the next few months and all my showers and parties!!! :)

Also we have gotten a lot of little details purchased such as our card box, guest book, buttons, and sooo much more!! Now I just have to decorate them all and they will be be perfect!! I don't want to let out to many secrets....sooo after the wedding I will have A LOT of posts to show our special day and all my DIY projects!!

I know there is sooo much more I am forgetting but I can;t think of it so I will have to clue you all in on my next post!! I should be posting here in a few weeks!! Hopefully....but we will see!!!

AHHH almost 3 months...so exciting...but also nerve racking!! But I know with all the help it will be perfect!! :)

A New Year!

Its 2012!! The year of my wedding hehe :) And I am supercalifragilisticexpealidocious (spelling?) excited! Quite a few things have happened since I last posted....it has been forever since I last posted! We are officially down to 135 days til wedding bells :) I can't believe how fast time flys. It use to be a little over a year until our wedding and now we are down to 4 months 2 weeks! Its crazy exciting but also stressful....I made a list the other day of the little details I need to do before the wedding and there were about 30 things on that list! YIKES! It makes me a little nervous but I know everything will turn out just fine.

The beginning of last month we got our save-the-dates printed, put together and mailed out! Hope everyone liked them!! It was such a fun project for me. I designed them all myself and I will be designing the invitations (secret: I actually have had my invitations designed for months now). It was really fun but also kind of stressful because I would make a few different styles and then couldn't decide because I liked them all...but we finally decided on one and I know it was the perfect one! Things are starting to come together and I love it! Almost all the girls have their dresses....which are amazing and I can't wait to see how beautiful they all look in them!! We have planned to go look at tuxes on Saturday!! My sister, mom and I are going without James so that I don't see him in his tux until our first look at the wedding! So we are going to dress a manequin and hope it looks good haha.....I know it will look awesome!!

I'm so excited for my bridal showers too and bachelorette party!! I ordered a dress from Victoria's Secret for my lingerie party but now I need to find one for the bridal shower, bachlorette party and rehearsal dinner!! I love me some dresses :) Still haven't figured out the location for the bachlorette party but it is in the works and hopefully we will have it figured out soon!! :)

Well as many of you know....New Years Eve is my favorite holiday!! James wasn't able to be there this year cause he was working but it was still a lot of fun!! I blew up about 100 balloons, and hung streamers up in the living room! I also got glasses, hats and poppers!! Its the best holiday ever and I have some pictures to share with you...

And our Christmas Tree!!! :)

Yesterday was James and I's annual! haha I hate calling it an anniversary cause we aren't married yet so I call it our annual. We have been together for four years now!! Soo crazy....its doesn't seem like that long ago!! But it has been amazing and now we are getting married :)

James and I have also started to work out!! I am soooo out of shape it is not even funny!! But we both are determined to look amazing for our honeymoon!! :) 

Well I will be starting all of my DIY projects for the wedding soon!!! Soo excited to see how they turn out!! Its going to be an exciting four months and I am soooo ready to marry James and go on our honeymoon!! Its going to be a great year!!!
