A little wedding news

February 25th, 2011
One of the best days of my life!! James proposed to me and it was such a surprise! I had no idea I would be getting engaged to the man that I love! It was a great night and so romantic! I will always remember the day he proposed to me!!!!

And today I asked my little cousins to be my flower girl and escort (ring bearer)!!! They were too cute!! The ring bearer has been a ring bearer about 4 times or maybe more and soooo he wasn;t to excited haha!! But I gave him a new role as being the escort for the flower girl!!! He liked that much better!! :)

AREN'T THEY SOOOOO CUTE!!!!

I don't really have anymore news to share!! I am getting excited for my lingerie party though! Only two weeks away!! The wedding is getting so close!!!!

T- minus THREE MONTHS!!

Ok ok ok I know I forgot to post! I got super busy!! But I am posting now and there is sooo much to share!
First of all I FOUND A JOB!!!!! Yay!! Weight lifted off our shoulders. It was getting very stressful! But I got a job and I love it and now we don't have to live with my parents after the wedding ;) (no offense mom and dad)! And we also found an apartment that we both LOVE and of course I have already decorated it in my head!! So excited to move in in May and have our own home!!

Also my sister and mom made my lingerie party invitations and they are soooo adorbale!! And creative! I love them and am excited to see everyone in a couple weeks for my lingerie party! It will be fun!! :) I'll post a picture at the end of this post cause they are too cute to not post!!

We have also been working on a lot of projects for the wedding!! I can't go into too many details cause then it would ruin all the surprises on the day of the wedding!! All the girls are starting to get their dresses in and they are beautiful!! I love the color!! Soo stunning and I can't wait to see everything put together!

We also have all the tuxes picked out! We had them picked out at one shop but they ended up being way tooooo expensive so we found another shop that was a lot more reasonable! BUT James had to go back to the epensive shop and try to get his money back.......so in the process of doing this the lady thought that I had called off the wedding and apologized to James over and over and said how sorry she was!!!! But the wedding is still on and now everyone will be able to afford tuxes cause they were soooooooooo crazily expensive!!

James has also been helping me with some of the projects which has been fun and surprising haha!!

Next on the agenda....I need to make a trip to Spokane for one of my first dress fittings!!! I can not wait to see my dress......I have not seen or tried it on since JUNE!! Thats just way too long for a girl to be away from her dress :) So soon I shall reunite with it!! And I can't wait...Hopefully I still like it haha!!

And then my other bridal shower needs to be planned......bachelorette and bachelor parties need to be planned.....we need to finalize our music for the ceremony and first dances.......and a whole bunch of other stuff!!

As much as I am havig fun and loving planning....I am also ready for the day to just be here!!! I never believed girls when they were like...."I'm just ready to get to the day and have fun and then go on my honeymoon"! BUT it is sooooo true! It gets very overwhelming and stressful with all the decisions and opinions from others!! But I know it will be beautiful and I am just ready to get married, dance, have fun and then soak up some sunshine in St. Lucia!!! :)

So I think that is all the exciting news I have!!! I wish I could share more but I wan everyone to be surprised by the little deatails and unique ideas I have!!! SOOOOO after the wedding this blog will be blowing up with posts! :) Oh yeah I almost forgot!!!

THREE MONTHS TODAY!!!! I cannot believe it!! So crazy! We are almost there.....in no time it will be the week before and then the night before and I wont be able to sleep!!! :)

Oh yeah an for SuperBowl I made these awesome dessert skewers!! They are gluten and dairy free!!! I made the angel food cake the day before! The angel food cake is gluten and dairy free and was sooooo much better then normal angel food cake!! And then strawberries....and then I melted dairy free chocolate chips and drizzled it over the skewers!! SOOOOO good!! YUM!

99 DAYS UNTIL OUR BIG DAY!!!

I wish I could write everything that has been going on and all the wedding stuff that is happening!!! BUT I'm sooo tired and I dont have the energy!!

I just had to post that we are in the double digits!! Almost 3 months away and its soo exciting!!! Tomorrow I promise I will post everything!!!

It's getting closer and closer!!

It has been forever since I have written....well ok only a month!! But so much has happened!! The wedding is getting close and so there is a lot that has been going on!! On February 19th we will be at exactly 3 months til the wedding!! SOOO crazy....I feel like just yesterday we got engaged!! I knew it would go by fast but not this fast!! And on February 25th it will be one year since James proposed to me!!! :)    Definitely one of the best days of the my life so far!!

As far as wedding stuff goes....we have reserved tuxedos.....finally!!! It was actually a pretty funny ordeal!! We cancelled our tux orer from one store and they thought that I had broke it off with James and apologized to him several times...hahaha!! But we are still getting married and found a different tuxedo shop that is going to work perfectly!!

Also all the girls now have their dresses ordered and some of them have already received them!! YAY!! Cant wait to see them all in their dresses and looking beautiful!!

Lets see.....what else has happened...... OH YES!! we found a videographer!! She does amazing work and I can't wait to work with her!! We are doing our engagement video in April and then she will be their on our special day to canpture every special moment!! Can't wait!!

My mom and sister have also set the date for my lingerie party and have made the cutest invitations ever!! I can't wait for everyone to get them!!! Once everyone has gotten them I will post a picture!! Super excited for the next few months and all my showers and parties!!! :)

Also we have gotten a lot of little details purchased such as our card box, guest book, buttons, and sooo much more!! Now I just have to decorate them all and they will be be perfect!! I don't want to let out to many secrets....sooo after the wedding I will have A LOT of posts to show our special day and all my DIY projects!!

I know there is sooo much more I am forgetting but I can;t think of it so I will have to clue you all in on my next post!! I should be posting here in a few weeks!! Hopefully....but we will see!!!

AHHH almost 3 months...so exciting...but also nerve racking!! But I know with all the help it will be perfect!! :)

A New Year!

Its 2012!! The year of my wedding hehe :) And I am supercalifragilisticexpealidocious (spelling?) excited! Quite a few things have happened since I last posted....it has been forever since I last posted! We are officially down to 135 days til wedding bells :) I can't believe how fast time flys. It use to be a little over a year until our wedding and now we are down to 4 months 2 weeks! Its crazy exciting but also stressful....I made a list the other day of the little details I need to do before the wedding and there were about 30 things on that list! YIKES! It makes me a little nervous but I know everything will turn out just fine.

The beginning of last month we got our save-the-dates printed, put together and mailed out! Hope everyone liked them!! It was such a fun project for me. I designed them all myself and I will be designing the invitations (secret: I actually have had my invitations designed for months now). It was really fun but also kind of stressful because I would make a few different styles and then couldn't decide because I liked them all...but we finally decided on one and I know it was the perfect one! Things are starting to come together and I love it! Almost all the girls have their dresses....which are amazing and I can't wait to see how beautiful they all look in them!! We have planned to go look at tuxes on Saturday!! My sister, mom and I are going without James so that I don't see him in his tux until our first look at the wedding! So we are going to dress a manequin and hope it looks good haha.....I know it will look awesome!!

I'm so excited for my bridal showers too and bachelorette party!! I ordered a dress from Victoria's Secret for my lingerie party but now I need to find one for the bridal shower, bachlorette party and rehearsal dinner!! I love me some dresses :) Still haven't figured out the location for the bachlorette party but it is in the works and hopefully we will have it figured out soon!! :)

Well as many of you know....New Years Eve is my favorite holiday!! James wasn't able to be there this year cause he was working but it was still a lot of fun!! I blew up about 100 balloons, and hung streamers up in the living room! I also got glasses, hats and poppers!! Its the best holiday ever and I have some pictures to share with you...

And our Christmas Tree!!! :)

Yesterday was James and I's annual! haha I hate calling it an anniversary cause we aren't married yet so I call it our annual. We have been together for four years now!! Soo crazy....its doesn't seem like that long ago!! But it has been amazing and now we are getting married :)

James and I have also started to work out!! I am soooo out of shape it is not even funny!! But we both are determined to look amazing for our honeymoon!! :) 

Well I will be starting all of my DIY projects for the wedding soon!!! Soo excited to see how they turn out!! Its going to be an exciting four months and I am soooo ready to marry James and go on our honeymoon!! Its going to be a great year!!!

I N C R E D I B L E N E S S

It has almost been a month since I have posted and soo much has happened! First off I hope everyone had an amazing thanksgiving with their families and are thankful for everything in their lives. My thanksgiving was very good besides the fact that the finace had to work but thats ok!

Hmm I don't even know where to begin! hehe :)  OH YEA!! Soo I finally got my shoes and they fit this time! YAY! They are soooo beautiful and stunning but I don't want to say anything cause they are a surprise. Everything that I am wearing is going to be a surprise for James and since he reads this I can't say anything BUT uhhh they are amazing!! Soo now I just have to practice walking around the house and get them broke in so my feet aren't killing me at the wedding....but...I'm guessing they are going to kill me anyway....but its all worth it!!

James and I also went and registered for gifts!!! We went to Bed Bath and Beyond and probabaly spent 2 hours picking out stuff! James only went cause I agreed to let him handle the sanner gun! haha! :) Not sure if it was as much fun as he thought but there wasn't any random stuff on our list when we were done soo he did a good job :) It was actually a lot of fun and now I can't wait to open presents at the bridal shower haha! But it also brought out our differences and we couldn't agree on some things....but that'll happen!! And on Wednesday we will be registering at target!!!!

We also made a trip up to Cave B Inn and spent some time talking to the wedding coordinator about the big day!! After the meeting I got sooo excited that I wish we could jump ahead and just get married!! I am soo excited for all the love, food, celebrating, drinking, crying, laughing, and dancing that is going to happen! Its just going to be an amazing day!!

And today...I finished designing our Save the Dates and sent them into B&B Express Printing! I had to make some changes but tomorrow I get to go see a tester and then they can get printed!! I can't wait to get them sent out....it'll be a huge weight lifted off my shoulders!! And it will just be another step closer to the big day! They look awesome and I am soo proud of myself that I was able to design them myself and still love them. It is really hard to design for yourself. At WSU I worked as a graphic designer and I loved it but it was always for someone else....this time it was for me soo I was very picky and couldn't decide but I finally decided and I love it!! I think its perfect!! And I already have our invitations designed tooo!!! :) :) :)

Even though I get stressed out a lot and freak out about all the little things I am soo excited to continue planning the wedding and honeymoon and can't wait for the big day!! Its going to be sooo amazing and I know it will be a feeling I have never felt before when I put on my wedding dress, and see James for the first time and have our first kiss as husband and wife and dance our first dance! Its going to be a day full of incredibleness!!! I can't wait!

I also finished the blog and all the pages! Well to the best of my ability right now! I think I am still missing a picture on the wedding party but the rest of it is done SOOO ENJOY!!

In the coming month we will be ordering dresses and tuxes!! :)

Dresses, Tuxes and Shoes OH MY!!

We have hit another benchmark! We are in the 100's!!! :)  YAY!! I dont know what else to say except that I am excited as always haha!! I ordered my shoes the other day for the wedding and I got them and I love them BUT...they were too big! For everyone that knows me knows that I already have huge feet sooo how in the world would they be too big haha! But they were! So I have to send them back and get a different size but I have time soo thats good!

We are also meeting with our videographer on Monday! He videoed my cousins wedding and did an awsome job! I'm excited!!

Its all starting to get real and I'm starting to do more and more things for the wedding! Sometime this month I need to take a trip to Spokane to see my dress and do the first alterations!! And then by the end of November or beginning of December I want to get all the tuxes picked out and outfits for the flower girl and ring bearer!! And then the girls need to order their dresses in December!!!

YAY!! And James and I are starting the gym on Saturday!! Heres to an amazing body by time we go on our honeymoon!!

So there are a lot of exciting things happening and once the new year hits it will get even more fun with bridal showers, bachelorette parties, cake tasting, food tasting and more decorationg..oh yeah and apartment hunting!! :) I can't wait to live with James!!

Well thats all for now but I am sure there will be something new in the next week or two!!
Oh yeah! I don't remember if I already blogged about this but we had our engagement pictures on Saturday and I can not wait to see them!!! :) We should have all our pictures in about a week and a half! EEEEEEEE!!!
